Our Values
Within Kerala society, among the many groups engaged in different fields, it is a reality that artists continue to live under significant hardship and difficulties. The situation of artists working in various fields in Parassala is no different.
Traditional performing artists, musicians, instrumentalists, vocalists, and dancers alike are not only insecure in their respective domains but also remain largely undocumented by the Parassala Panchayat.
In light of this, the Panchayat has decided to conduct a detailed data collection of such artists, including their work experience, age, educational qualifications, achievements in their respective art forms, and awards received. Necessary steps have already been initiated in this regard.
Through this initiative, artists will be categorized according to their field of art, provided with identity cards, and given opportunities that will help them secure a sustainable livelihood.
